To continue with my altar theme; I went to a local Pagan/Wiccan shop to purchase a cauldron and to find a stone to include in my mother’s amulet, which I found among her personal effects. The gentleman said that the rose quartz would be perfect, so I looked over the quartz and was drawn to a slightly heart-shaped one. I put these on the counter and looked around the shop and saw their ancestor wall/altar. It was then that I realized that I NEED to have this. Standing at this altar, even though it was not mine, gave me great comfort. I also have in my mind’s eye a seasonal altar. Right now however, my life is in a state of upheaval. I am sorry if this was too short. I cannot seem to concentrate.
I've come to this conclusion as well. I have one that I put up for Samhain, but it is seasonal. I'd like to have a more permanent one...
